Snow-A-Palooza 2014

Snow! Snow! Snow!   If anyone knows me, they know that I LOVE snow. Brad posted on Facebook today that he is not sure who is more excited, his 4 year old or his wife. It was probably me!  I have stalked the weather forcast for days now in anticipation for this storm. Today was day 1 and we are expected to get up to 12 more inches tomorrow. YAY!  The kids were out of school today and tomorrow and I will just go ahead and expect Thursday and Friday as well.  They are saying we will have 2" of snow fall in an hour. That is CRAZY! South of us is supposed to get ice, and I am glad that it is not us. The kids had a blast today. They went outside around 9:30 this morning and didn't come in until lunch time. They were rolling HUGE balls of snow and making snowmen. Once Brad got home we got bundled up and took the kids up to the school and let them sled and play some more. We made a snowman, had a snowball fight or 3, made snow angels, and went sledding. It was a lot of fun. Elijah kept sticking his mitten in the snow and licking it off. He was not sure about the snow at first and about the time we were ready to head home, he decided he kind of liked it.  I think it had more to do with the fact that he couldn't move with all his layers on. Well we will see what comes our way with round 2 of this snow storm.

Caleb was pulling the sled up the hill.
Apparently it started to get heavy
and he fell face first in the snow.

It is hard to walk with so many layers. Such a cute marshmallow.

 The snowball fight with daddy.
