Cats Do Have 9 Lives

So three days ago my mom called me asking if I had seen their outdoor cat Nutmeg. She always stays around the house and never wanders far away. I had not seen her, but had noticed the night before that she wasn't in the garage when I went over there. Well the neighbors were having some culvert pipes put in their backyard for drainage and finished the job and left. I thought maybe the cat had gotten curious and go on some of the equipment and they drove off with her. Well mom was convinced that they buried her alive when they put in the pipes. We all had said some prayers that if she was hurt or anything that God would allow us to find her and help her. So the next day mom decided to walk around and call her and she heard the cats meow back in the neighbors yard where the construction had been done. Well to make a long story short, the cat did get buried under the pipe they were putting in. So the fire department came out, along with the company that did the work in the first place to dig it back up. It took a while, but they were able to save her and she was fine. I am including some pictures of the hole they had to dig up to get her out.
