Yesterday was a good day with Benjamin. I think he might have figured out this whole eating thing and realized that it is what he needs. He gets frustrated though but we are learning each other. Brad and I can't stop looking at him. We were laughing last night at how we could just stare at him for hours and be amazed at each little face he makes. After peeing on himself a few times and getting stuff all over himself we decided to give Benjamin his first bath. He didn't like it very much. He screamed through most of it, peed on himself half way through the bath, but he did well overall. After getting him all dry Brad was putting his diaper on and I leaned down to give him a kiss and next thing I know Benjamin is peeing in my ear... You have to really watch those little boys when they are naked! I am overwhelmed at how much I love the little guy. There is such an amazing instant bond and connection. A friend and I were talking and she was saying how it is so amazing because an infant is such a picture of the way we are with Christ. We are completely dependant on him for EVERYTHING and how sometimes when Benjamin is frustrated with feeding and can't seem to get it all down all he has to do is let me guide him to the things that are good for him. Anyway it was a good reminder to me. I do not feel exhausted at all at this point. He sleeps well and wakes up almost exactly when he needs to feed. I am feeding him every 3 hours during the day and every 4 at night. Last night I only had to get up once to feed him. The feedings are taking longer than they should at this point some of them are lasting 2 hours. We are getting better at everything though. He is just so amazing and is the best thing that has every happened to Brad and I and that we get to keep him forever! Well here are some pictures we have taken in the past few days.

So peaceful

Right after the traumatic first bath.

First bath.. couldn't use the tub because he still can't be under water until the cord comes off his tummy.
