Benjamin did not sleep well to start off the new year. He just wanted me to hold him after all his feedings last night. I was so exhausted this morning when I rolled out of bed to feed him. Half the night I slept in the rocking chair in his room because he wanted to be rocked and I was trying to get him to go back to sleep and instead I fell asleep. Thank God he didn't roll out of my arms or anything.
Benjamin has been trying very hard to make his thumb a part of his everyday life. I got some pictures of him sucking his thumb tonight which are so cute. It would make life so much easier if he would suck his thumb and we didn't have to do the pacifier thing. During the night when his pacifier falls out it wakes him up and I have to go back in and put it back in his mouth. This was part of our problem last night. Anyway.. tonight I put him in his bed around 9pm and I heard him whimpering so I looked at the video monitor and he was trying so hard to get his thumb in his mouth, he just has not learned he has to stick his thumb straight out or it won't go in his mouth. I ended up having to give him his pacifier because he just couldn't get the thumb. Anyway... The new year has begun and I pray God's blessings upon everyone.

Happy New Year!!
The boys in their matching christmas jammies. They would not stop looking at each other, it was so funny!
We even tried turing them forward so they would look out, but they still wanted to look at each other.
This picture looks very familiar to the first picture ever taken of the boys. Benjamin screaming and red looking a little scared and shocked.
