I am finally getting a chance to post. I have been too busy this week to get on here and post at all. I had to be at school this Friday for a dental conference that our school was hosting. I am so glad it is over with because now I can concentrate on other things and not worry about the confrence. I had to help with the planning etc so that is why I am glad it is over. Anyway...When I got home on Friday Brad said lets go somewhere for the night which sounded great to me, so we decided to go to the lake house my parents got back in the fall. There is nothing there right now, as my parents are going to be doing some renovations on the house to get it ready for summer. We had to pack all kinds of things because there is nothing there, so we loaded our car and headed off to the lake house. It was so fun and we felt like we were on vacation. The house is on lake keowee so it is an hour from our house. My brother is storing his furniture there right now while he is renovating his own home, so we pulled the mattress into the house from the garage and set up our cooler as a coffee table. It was wonderful! On Sat. afternoon we just spent time together as a little family. We watched a movie (we had to bring the TV and VCR so we could watch it) and read etc.. it was great! Backtracking into the week, we go over to some of our friends parents house almost every Tuesday to eat dinner with them and other friends and to watch American Idol. So we went there this week which was fun. Benjamin is changing in leaps and bounds! He is such a good sleeper- we are still trying to figure out the thumb, so in the meantime Brad and I are still getting up (sometimes every 5 minutes) to put the pacifier back in. On the nights when it is every 5 minutes, Benjamin usually ends up in bed with us so we can get some sleep. I take my mock boards for school on Feb. 19th and I am not ready for them at all. I am going to be spending all my free time (starting after I finish posting) studying. The mock board is 40% of my grade for my class. I take my real national boards on March 25th. It is an 8 hour test! UGH! Well I guess that is all for now!
Benjamin and daddy talking.. Brad is convinced he said Elmo right before this picture was taken....I didn't hear elmo.
Tummy time! He is getting much stronger and lifting his head much better.
Our first dinner at the Lake house, on our makeshift coffee table.
Sitting with his other "uncle Boy" Matt
All decked out for Carolina!
