Let me backtrack to this past weekend.. Easter! We went to Crossroads because we love their Easter service so much! I wish we were not 30 min. away now. I miss going to church there. Anyway.... It was quite clear when we woke up that the Easter bunny had made his appearance at our house. There was a basket full of goodies for Benjamin and he actually was pretty into it. He got really excited about his basket and was holding onto it and just staring at it.
For Easter Benjamin wore this adorable blue outfit that Peg, Sam, and Kathryn Barry sent him. It was a 9 month outfit, but our little chunker has almost outgrown this outfit already.
Below he is saying his Easter prayer.
Everything goes straight to the mouth these days.
He was so interested in the basket. He was reaching for things and touching them.. It made it fun that he was actually aware of his basket.
After church we went to Brad's aunts house for an Easter feast! It was wonderful to hang out with his family. Benjamin slept most of the time we were there.
This is Brad's mom with Benjamin.
After lunch, I went to my parents house, so mom could watch Benjamin while I hit the books once again. Benjamin took a nap with uncle Brandon.
After his nap, he got to go through his Easter basket since we didn't have time to go through it earlier in the morning because we would have been late to church. Once again his curiosity about this basket was so funny. We also put him in his basket.. he was fine with it for a little while, but then got really mad.
