Friday was not the best day starting out. I had some issues with stuff about taxes and was all upset when I left after talking to the person preparing our taxes. I was headed to my moms house and ended up rear-ending someone and in my frustration trying to get out of my car I couldn't get my car doors to unlock so then I tried to roll down the window and couldn't seem to make that work either. I am sure the lady thought I was a nut. Anyway she got out and looked and just said there is no damage at all so we just went on our way. Well after all that I got to my moms house and busted out in tears. Mom felt bad so we went to lunch and then she took me shopping. Moms are the best and know how to make you feel better.
Yesterday Brad and I had planned to get out in the yard and do yard work since it has been such wonderful warm weather this past week and of course it was cold and rainy, so we didn't get to do anything in the yard. Earlier this week Brad started working on the ivy in our back yard that is really overgrown and started cutting it at the top of our driveway... well it ended up we had about an extra 4 feet of driveway space that we didn't know was there because of the ivy. Our entire backyard is ivy, and it is going to kill our trees if we don't clear it out, so we have a big project on our hands. Back to our day... we didn't do much of anything all day yesterday. Brad's dad and little brother came by to see Benjamin and then Brad and I went to a wedding shower for some friends. That really sums up our weekend, nothing too exciting, but a good weekend to say the least. I didn't make any CVS purchases this week, so I have nothing to post on that either. This next week is not the best for CVS, so I don't know if I will be making any deals or not.
