Weekend Update...

This has been a good weekend.. Maybe because I was on spring break. Lets see.. Thursday I spent the afternoon with my friend Laura. She was my roommate in Knoxville, TN and she now lives here and is a year behind me in hygiene school. I picked her up at work and she went with me to a fabric store to try and find some fabric to make curtains for my bedroom. Our bedroom is the room we use to keep anything that doesn't have a place yet. Well I am tired of it being this room, so I am about to make our room a real bedroom. Anyway we went through the store and I found one fabric I liked and as I was on my way to look at it one more time, a different fabric caught my eye.. Well I loved this fabric and decided it would be perfect for our room (I am doing or room in brown and green) So i got a swatch and we went to my moms house so I could feed Benjamin. I showed my mom the fabric and she liked it as well. I decided that this was the fabric I wanted to get so we went back to the store (only because the fabric was 35% off right now and they didn't know how long it would be on sale) So I got the fabric and went home. To make a long story about this fabric short, it ended up being the exact same fabric my friend Danielle got and has in her bedroom. I had no clue it was the same, because I always thought that Danielle had a toile fabric in her bedroom. Good thing that Danielle is a good friend and doesn't mind. I did feel really bad though. After all that mom, laura, benjamin and i went to dinner and had a fun evening.
Friday was not the best day starting out. I had some issues with stuff about taxes and was all upset when I left after talking to the person preparing our taxes. I was headed to my moms house and ended up rear-ending someone and in my frustration trying to get out of my car I couldn't get my car doors to unlock so then I tried to roll down the window and couldn't seem to make that work either. I am sure the lady thought I was a nut. Anyway she got out and looked and just said there is no damage at all so we just went on our way. Well after all that I got to my moms house and busted out in tears. Mom felt bad so we went to lunch and then she took me shopping. Moms are the best and know how to make you feel better.

Yesterday Brad and I had planned to get out in the yard and do yard work since it has been such wonderful warm weather this past week and of course it was cold and rainy, so we didn't get to do anything in the yard. Earlier this week Brad started working on the ivy in our back yard that is really overgrown and started cutting it at the top of our driveway... well it ended up we had about an extra 4 feet of driveway space that we didn't know was there because of the ivy. Our entire backyard is ivy, and it is going to kill our trees if we don't clear it out, so we have a big project on our hands. Back to our day... we didn't do much of anything all day yesterday. Brad's dad and little brother came by to see Benjamin and then Brad and I went to a wedding shower for some friends. That really sums up our weekend, nothing too exciting, but a good weekend to say the least. I didn't make any CVS purchases this week, so I have nothing to post on that either. This next week is not the best for CVS, so I don't know if I will be making any deals or not.
