Recipe #5...

Homemade Hummus










You will need a food processor ( I used a mini one)
1 can of chick peas (or garbanzo beans)
Canola oil
1 clove of garlic
salt
Tahini (this is sesamee seed paste) You can find it on the special foods isle at your local grocery store or a place like the fresh market, or earthfare.
1 lemon

Mix chick peas
1/4 cup oil
garlic (finely chopped)
salt to taste
2 T of tahini
juice of 1 lemon
Blend this all together until paste is formed. Add more oil if it is too thick. You want this to be nice and spreadable.

Sever with celery sticks, pita, and carrot slices.
