Last night Brad and I spent our evening in the Doctors Care waiting room. I got a call from Brad around 5:45 asking where the nearest doctor was that was open. Of course I started to panic as he told me he cut open his knee with a hedge trimmer. Luckily it was only going to require 3 stitches and they ended up only doing one due to the fact that Brad has a very weak stomach and tried to watch them do the stitches. He almost passed out. This is when the doctor decided she would only do one stitch just to keep it from opening back up. Brad's boss has done this same thing and remembered how sore it was the next morning and gave Brad the day off, so this morning Brad didn't go to work.
With my first day being done with school I decided it was project day. I pulled out my fabric and sat down determined to finish my curtains. Not only did I finish them, I also made a bed skirt, and a tie for the nightstand lamp. I have to say I am very pleased with my work.
I think I am going to split the bedskirt and make it two sections, so it is not just one long panel.
The room looks so messy.. Brad has been lounging all day to let his knee get better.

Your room looks awesome. Maybe you can teach me how to do all this.
Lauren, I really like it one solid strip instead of cutting it. I don't know, i just think that it looks simplistically classy. - Jason
