Breastfeeding and Bathing Suits

These two things just don't go together at all (at least for me). I have been trying for a while to find a bathing suit that will work for my new changed figure. I have always worn a tasteful bikini however I know I can't do that now. My mom and I are leaving on Sunday to go to Florida for a week to visit family and my aunt has a pool and my grandmother lives 1 street from Daytona beach, so a bathing suit is going to be necessary for me this next week. So mom and I have been on the search for ANYTHING that will work for me. Bathing suits right now are all these low cut "cleavage" suits. I tried one on a few weeks back and stepped out of the dressing room to show mom and we both just busted out laughing. I can't find tops big enough for me right now. I knew I was looking for something with a straight neck line because I am just not willing to show off more than I have to in a bathing suit. Anyway.. I found the perfect bathing suit yesterday. It is nice and modest and I love it. I am so excited I actually found one.

So yesterday was quite interesting. I met my mom out at the mall to look for bathing suits, and took Benjamin because he was feeling better. Well I met up with my mom and we noticed that Benjamin had all these red bumps on his fingers that looked just like ant bites. It looked painful and they were kind of raised and looked like there was pus in them. Anyway.. I ended up calling the doctors office because he broke out in a rash the night before and then these bumps showed up. They also were on his chin, upper lip and nose, and then started appearing on his toes, and random places on his body. I knew whatever it was was spreading and couldn't be ant bites. Anyway... I ended up taking him back to the doctors office and he is pretty sure Benjamin has a virus that caused all of this. There was a thought that maybe he is allergic to the amoxacillin he is taking for his ear infection, but that was not it. It looks much better this morning.

With Benjamin on this medicine, it gives him diarrhea, so while mom and I were trying to find bathing suits yesterday Benjamin had diarrhea 4 times. Then twice more once I got home. I told mom that if I had been by myself with him, I would have gone home after the first explosion. Thank God I had mom to help me with the diarrhea messes he made. I was supposed to go to a friends baby shower last night, but with all this going on with Benjamin I decided not to go. I wish I could have been there though.

I have pictures to post on thing that have been going on, but I am having some sort of problem with either my camera, usb cord, or the program that I upload to. I am trying to figure it out, but it is driving me crazy because I can't get them on the computer. UGH!

Well that is all for now.
I am going to have some really good deals to post about later today.

Hey Lauren, If you need another swim suit, check out athleta.com. Most of these suits are for cut for more athletic women, therefore, a little more coverage and a lot more support for being active or post pregnant. I have one and love it.
