Ok here is the update on the bug.. I took this from Carrie's blog...
The Bug Is NOT Real…and I didn’t do it!
So, five people showed up at my house this morning to investigate the bug. It is NOT real. It is a fake bug that someone attached to the tree a long time ago and is now grown into the tree. It is made of pantyhose and wire. Hilarious! What is ever funnier is that we had not noticed it in the three years we have been in this house. I hope this makes you all sleep better tonight. I definitely will! Sorry about the scare!
