The way I work freebies is like this.. I have a separate yahoo e-mail account that I use only for things that I have to enter an e-mail address in order to get a product. All communication is then on this "junk mail" account and doesn't' flood my inbox of my Gmail account. When it comes to entering my phone number I NEVER put my cell number(My only number). We have our Internet through a phone line and therefor have a "fake" phone line. It has a real number, but doesn't allow calls to go through. I made the mistake of putting my real cell number on something and I am still getting calls from telemarketers months later. So if you want to get promotional items you may want to create a seperate acount just for that.
