The Ultrasound...

On Wednesday I went for my first real OB appointment. I was a nervous wreck because I just knew they were going to say I was pregnant with multiples. (not that it would be the worst thing in the world, I just think my little brother having twins on the way got me nervous.) Anyway...My blood pressure was high (my heart was racing) but I was very happy to find out there is only 1 baby on the way! Not to give out too much information, but

Brad and I only had 1 possible date of conception for this baby and according to our doctor it doesn't even match up with how far along we are. ** Note to friends... birth control is NOT 100%**

Our doctor said that the baby was very active which is good but made it hard to get good pictures. I am officially due on March 26th but due to my slight complications from Benjamin's birth I am going to be induced at least a week to a week and a half early, so somewhere around March 16th to the 19th. The baby might be a St. Patricks Day baby! This is to keep the baby a little smaller in size.

Now as far as being able to find out what we are having... we have an idea (our doctor thinks she knows what we are having), but because it was 13 weeks when we had the ultrasound, determining the sex is still a little bit hard to do. I will have our 2nd ultrasound in about 5 weeks. She said that with the way the anatomy forms it still could be a boy or a girl it is hard to tell. We will know for sure at the appointment in 5 weeks what the sex of the baby is.
