Around 2:00 we headed over to my parents house to have Christmas with them. They had all kinds of food out and dad was busy getting a prime rib in the oven to slowly cook all day. Benjamin was so excited to see everyone. As soon as we walked in he saw that Nana had put tensil all over the tree and he was just so happy about it. Then he saw his little mini car with the big bow on it and squeeled with excitement! It was so fun to watch him so excited about his gift. He went over to it and immediately tried to get in it and pull it out from under the tree.
I have to explain the above pictures... Our lakehouse is in a cove and boats think it is a great place to ski, causing tons of wake... It drives dad a little crazy and there is nothing he can do about it. Anyway we joke with him and say we will get him a chair for the end of the dock so he can keep watch over the cove. Well mom had a hat made for him that says "Captain of the Cove" as a joke and gave him a whistle to go with it. We all got a good laugh out of it.
