As 2009 approached Brad and I realized how desperately we had to get on a budget and a very strict one at that. With a new baby on the way and one child already we had to be better with our finances. We have decided to follow the dave ramsey envelope system. It is very strict and I am very excited about it. I think it is going to teach us a lot about managing our finances wisely. We spent a lot of time figuring out our budget and where every penny needed to go. Every penny is accounted for and if the money is not set aside for something or if it runs out in an area... TOO BAD. Anyway I am just excited about a new system and sticking to it.
