Back to CVS...

I have decided it is time to start doing extra care bucks at CVS again. I have recently had to buy diapers for the 2nd time since Benjamin was born and I am wanting to start stocking up for the next baby as well. I got some good deals yesterday .

Walgreen's Deal

1 gallon PET milk (2.99) this is just a special they are running. I think I am going back to get more.

1 Tube of Lipstick (1.79) this too was just a deal they were running. I actually got like 6.00 off of this tube.

7th generation cleaner- 1.19. I used a coupon for 1.00 off and paid $0.19 cents for the cleaner

Children's motrin- I am trying to stock up on this with a new baby arriving I know we will use it. $5.99. In the walgreens flyer there was a coupon for 2.00 off, then I had a coupon for 2.50 off so I paid $1.49 for the motrin.
Total came to 6.46 add.42 in tax and I paid $6.88 total.

CVS DEALS

They are running a deal where if you spend 20.00 in Johnson's and Johnson's products you get 10.00 in ECB's
I got 100 count tylenol (8.50) I had a 1.00 off coupon brining it to 7.50
Children's motrin (6.00) I had a coupon for 4.00 off bringing it to 2.00
Children's motrin (6.00) coupon for 4.00 off bringing it to 2.00
Tums- (1.99) I had a 1.00 coupon bringing it to 0.99
Then I used 2.50 off in ECB's
Bringing my total to 9.99 add tax of 1.20

Total spent $11.19

Total cost before any savings $48.64
Total spent on both purchases $18.07
Total Saved $30.57
I would say it was a good deal!

I've been following your blog for almost a year now and I'm still lost as how you work the system with walgreens and such.

I'm from California and we have walgreens, longs and rite aid...

Teach me oh great wise one!

Congrats on your baby #2, hubby and I are expecting our first in the next 4 weeks for so!
