It is hard to teach a 1 year old that they are going to have a sibling. We have been trying to explain to Benjamin that there is a baby in my tummy. He definately notices the difference in my growing belly, but he doesn't understand that there is a person in there who is going to change his world as well. He noticed my belly button sticking out a while back and would press it and we would say "ding dong" this turned into Benjamin patting my belly, hugging my belly, and putting his head down on it and saying "AWWW." He has now started giving my belly kisses. If we say "Benjamin can you give your brother a kiss?" he will come over and kiss my belly. It is pretty stinking cute!




















































I was out with mom at babies-r-us and found the outfit I want to bring this baby home in. It is a one piece knit outfit. March is still pretty chilly here and can be quite cold at times, so I think it will be perfect. It might end up being really big on him though, even though it is a newborn outfit.
