1. to floss my teeth att least 4x a week
2. to wash my face at least 4x a week before bed.
You are probably thinking these are weird resolutions but let me explain. I am a dental hygienist who hates to floss my teeth. I preach it to patients because I know the benifits of doing it, but I hate the way it feels in between my teeth. I would rather hear fingernails on a chalk board. So I have set a reasonable goal because I knew if I said every day for a year, I would miss days so I set it to 4x a week. So far so good!
The washing my face is somewhat the same. I used to try and wash my face all the time at night to get makeup off etc. but the more often I washed my face, the worse I broke out. I talked to a dermatologist who perscribed $50.00 face wash that took the color out of every towel I owned. I decided that wasn't worth it. So I just didn't use anything. Well I decided I am going to try again with a healthy mild soap and once again I set a reasonable goal since I have not done it for so long. I know if I said I would do it every day, it would never happen. So here's to a year of clean teeth and skin!

I hate flossing too - so much so that I won't allow any dentists to do it for me anymore. I def don't do it often enough but more than I used to. :) Good luck on your resolutions!
this might sound crazy, but i don't like to use soap on my face everyday so I use face wipes that are non-scented, but seriously, you could use baby wipes. if it's gentle enough for a baby butt, it's a-ok for your face ( I know mom's who have done this...) and then just use a really gentle moisturizer. I've been using Keihl's PCA "oil-free" for normal/oily skin types. It's kinda pricey, but i've had one tub for over a year, so that kinda works. But Meghan is loving Burt's bee moisturizer.
....but i think if a DR gave me something that was taking the color out of towels, i would be worried about what it was doing to my skin. so it's probably good you ditched it.
