Now.. on to bigger and better things, like an amazing deal on diapers and pasta. Today I started my deals by going to my moms house and printing the 5.00 huggies coupons again. (so i ended up with 4 total) If you didn't get these coupons go to www.coupons.com and you can print them two times each. (one is 5.00 off and one is 3.00 off) Anyway.... I also had two coupons for 1.50 off of two coffeemate creamers. So my first trip to walgreens I got:
3 packs of Huggies (10.00 each) and 4 coffeemate creamers (buy one get one free 2.49 for both) I used 3/ 5.00 off coupons for the Huggies which means I paid 5.00 per pack of diapers. Then I used 2/1.50 off two creamers, paying only $0.99 for two. Then the best part is that I then got $10.00 in Walgreen's register rewards to use on my next purchase. (this is not the end of this deal)
My second stop was at Bi-Lo where there were some really great deals. (I was not doing grocery shopping, but trying to stockpile a little) when I walked in there was a guy standing there with our Greenville Newspaper and he was giving them out for free.
Here is what I got and how much I paid for each thing.
1. 2 bottles of Dr. Pepper, 1 Coke, and 1 Sprite- these were buy one get one free costing $0.80 each. ( I didn't have any sort of coupon or anything for these)
2. Mueller's Pasta (elbows and spaghetti) were $0.79 a box. (I used 8 coupons that were $0.55 off two and that was doubled to 1.10 off of two boxes) so each box was $0.25 (I got 16 of the 79 cent boxes) Then I got two boxes that were 1.35 each and used one other coupon on these two boxes. Total of 18 boxes of pasta which would have cost 15.34 after coupons it cost me 5.60.
3. My last item was international delight coffee creamer (they were 1.66 each) and I had a 1.00 off coupon for 1. I got two and used two coupons making them $0.66 cents each!
My Third stop was Walgreen's again (these were all in a straight shot on my way home so I could save some gas) I got 3 more packs of Huggies diapers (30.00 for 3 packs) I used the 10.00 in register rewards, my last 5.00 off coupon, and 1 of the 3.00 off coupons for a total of 18.00 off, spending 12.00 for 3 packs. I have said before that I usually don't pay for diapers, but I couldn't pass up this deal. I paid less money than I would have buying the big boxes you can get at Target etc.
