Well I had my 37 week appointment and the little guy is measuring right on schedule. I am 2 cm dialated and my cervix has thinned out a little over 50%. It is official that next Sunday I will be going in to be induced unless this little guy decides to make his arrival sooner. I still can't believe I will have 2 children in a week! Yikes! I am more nervous about this one arriving then with Benjamin. I still feel I have so much to do and not much time to get it all done. I am going to pack my bag this weekend (I still haven't done it). Wednesday the 11th is a full moon for March, and they say the labor and delivery floor is crazy on those nights with so many births. I am convinced it has something to do with gravity. We will see if this little one decides to make his arrival sooner. This past weekend was the first time I feel like the discomfort of pregnancy has hit me. (only when I am in bed though or after sitting for a while) I was a lot more uncomfortable with Benjamin and much earlier on. I am thankful for this though.
Today I am making meals for two friends of mine who have recently had babies. One other friend had a baby just a few days ago and will be going home from the hospital today. There seem to be babies EVERYWHERE! It is a lot of fun though.
I am going to be doing some pretty big grocery shopping this weekend as I will not be going out for a while after the baby is born to do things like grocery shop. I will also be posting the meals I am putting away in the freezer. It is hard to find good freezer meals that are not fully cooked. I don't like when they are fully cooked because then it is like re-heating to me. Anyway... Be prepared for a lot of recipes...
