Deals Gone Wild...

I am so excited about my deals and savings today. I went to Bi-Lo today and here is how it went.

My total before any savings: $143.25

My total savings: $83.36

My total spent: $59.89 (but I had a $50.00 gift card, so I only spent $9.89 out of pocket)

I didn't need any meat or anything (I got pretty stocked up on this before Caleb was born) and honestly I bought more junk food than I ever have before.

I stocked up on canned goods (they were $0.39 each) Eggs were on sale for 1.00 a dozen so I got 3 dozen. My Dr. Pepper, one gallon of milk, and the Kashi meal were all free. The Kraft peppercorn ranch dressing was priced at 1.47 and I had a coupon for 1.50 off so I got it free. The brown mustard was on closeout for 0.65 and I had a coupon for 1.00 off so it was free. The poppycock was on closeout for 1.84 and I had a coupon for 1.00 off- I got it for 0.84. Sour cream I got free with my coupon. The Sunny D smoothies I got for 0.60 each. Sandwhich meat I got for 0.99. Green Giant frozen veggies ended up being 0.50 each. Orange Juice was 1.50 each. The cake mix, brownies, muffin mix, and frosting were either free or somewhere between 0.25 and 0.50 cents each. The cereal (if I got 3 boxes) I got a coupon for a free gallon of milk on my next visit.

Anyway it was a great day at the grocery store! I went shopping with both boys as well and just happened to run into my mom. Benjamin was shutting down, so my mom took him home with her so he could take a nap while I finished my shopping which was wonderful.
