Day 1:

I did really well yesterday. I didn't snack all day or anything like that. I felt full, but didn't try to starve myself. For lunch I made a whole wheat pasta with tomatoes and fresh basil and a little gouda. I also made a salad which I had the most of. Just lettuce with strawberries and shaved carrots with a little balsamic.

Like I said I am not going to eat super unrealistic things. I am not "dieting" really, I am just working on having a healthier lifestyle with smaller portions. Trust me I can put down some food when I am pregnant or nursing. This just gives me a healthy balance.

I also went on a walk with the boys after dinner yesterday.

Later in the evening I was wanting something sweet so I took my mom's new trick and made myself a cup of decaf coffee with a little vanilla creamer in it. It did the trick and I didn't make my way to the pantry looking for something sweet.

This morning I got up early (like 7) Caleb slept through the night again so I am getting long stretches of sleep! Yippee! and I cooked two eggs and had my morning cup of coffee.
I am going out to the lake house with my mom and dad and the boys today to see the progress of the renovations. The house is supposed to be ready at the end of May, but we will have to wait and see. I am not so sure I believe it. I can't wait to spend my weekends at the lake this summer.

I guess that is about all for now.
Have a wonderful day!

Hi Lauren, I went to school with Brad and found your blog from Sue Sene's blog... Anyway, just wanted to let you know I'm so impressed you're blogging your weight loss journey! I'll be praying for your success! I have thought about blogging the same thing but never worked up the nerve! I'm pregnant again now so I'll have a while to get inspired by you and your honesty. Maybe I'll be able to do it this time. Love your blog, your family is adorable and I love all the couponing tips you give! I've been trying to save money on our grocery shopping and you've taught me a lot! Thanks!
