Yard Work... Day 1

Brad, the boys, and I are quickly growing out of our little first home, but we have decided it will be at least a year and a half before we start looking for another house. A year and a half is a long time and there is no reason to not "LIVE" in your house because you might leave. Well we have begun projects on our yard and house to improve/ better it.
Project 1. The Tree
Today I decided this tree needed some major help. I pulled up all the bricks surrounding it and reshaped the whole thing, then replaced the brick border. I finished it off by planting the 8 Hostas I got last week. Below is the finished product. I think it was a big improvement.

My mother-in-law sent me a text message last week saying she got us patio furniture because she was getting such a good deal and couldn't pass it up. So we got this amazing patio furniture for our back yard.

Speaking of the back yard, that is one of our next big projcets. Brad's step dad is going to come over and help us do some major back yard renovations. We are going to be leveling out the whole upper layer of the yard. I will have pictures to show. It is going to be a few weeks before we get started on it becasue Brad is having his wisdom teeth taken out this Friday. After he recovers we will begin our big projects.
