This year we had the best opportunity (thanks mom and dad) to go to our family lake house on Lake Keowee. It was a wonderful weekend. My parents and Brads parents juggled keeping our children so we could enjoy 4 full days and 3 nights at the lake. This is the first real time we have had away since Benjamin was born. We had an outdoor fire and drank wine while we wrote in our Anniversary Journal. This journal is something we do every year to reflect on the past year and to write our hopes for the year to come. We also had the chance to drive up to Cashiers NC and see the beautiful fall colors. It was a true weekend of complete relaxation and much needed sleep. Here are some pictures of our weekend.
