My little Caleb is 9 months old! Seriously where does the time go? He weighs 19lbs 2oz and is really starting to want to walk. Today he pulled himself up on the bookshelf (this was a first) and he walked from one end to the other. Then he got down and started playing. Caleb's little temper seems to be coming out a little more. Or at least he has realized he is able to express his opinion as well. He does not like when I have to get Benjamin situated to eat before I sit down to feed him his food and he will squeel with frustration. He is still waking up every morning at 6:30 and wanting a bottle. He will go back to sleep for about an hour sometimes two. He laughs all the time and he loves playing with Benjamin. One of their favorite things to do is get in Caleb's crib and play. Benjamin has started to push Caleb down (in a playful way) but then he pins him down. We are working on this. Caleb loves to wave his arms around when he is excited. He has started eating more finger food. Puffs, and he tried bananas and peas. He is doing well with them. It is a lot easier to feed Caleb at this point because he has teeth at this age where Benjamin still had no teeth. Caleb's hair is bright blonde and there are times when I wonder if it is going to be curly. The day he has a bath he has CRAZY hair that stands straight up. He is still very laid back and easy going for the most part. He has his moments and times of day where he is fussy, but that is normal with any child. I think Caleb is going to be my child that puts EVERYTHING in his mouth. I put him in his jumpy seat in the door so I could do some stuff around the house. A little while later I went and picked him up to take him in the bathroom for a bath. He started laughing as I was laying him back and his mouth had all this white stuff in it. I immediately scooped out his mouth to find paint he had peeled off our door frame. I couldn't believe it. I have found him with half a chip clip in his mouth, rasins, chips, paper, and all kinds of things. Well these past 9 months have been amazing and I can't wait to watch him develop more over the next few months.
