Let it Snow... Let it snow... Let it ice!

Well we went to the lake house on Friday (there was supposed to be snow there also) We woke up and not even one flake had fallen. In talking with people in Greenville, we discovered it was white and I couldn't stand it. We immediately packed up and came home. You have to know that I wait all year for the ground to be covered in white. White snow or ice, i don't care. I couldn't miss the opportunity to see it, because it might not happen again this year. So we got home to a street COVERED in ice and a driveway that we couldn't drive up.
So Brad got out with the shovel to clean off the driveway enough to get the car up so we could unload it.
This is what the boys did while they waited to get ready to go outside.
I got the boys all bundled up and ready to go play outside. I love how they look like little marshmallow men when they are all layered.

Outside we went to play in the snowy ice...

Caleb sat in the wagon and watched as I helped Benjamin walk around.

Benjamin could barely pick anything up because his mittens were too big .

Benjamin all bundled up

Caleb kept sticking his tongue out. I think he liked the cold air on it. Then he would laugh.

Caleb touching the cold white stuff for the first time.

Caleb did not want to come inside, but we felt he was getting too cold. He fussed when I brought him inside. He then discovered this part of his hat and forgot he had been outside.
It was a fun and beautiful day. We went down to our friends house and had dinner together while our boys played. It was the perfect ending to a perfect snowy day!
