Benjamin.... you are too much!

Benjamin has recently really been saying A LOT!! He understands a lot more then I thought or often think he possibly could. So here are some recents...

Oh I wanted to note that on Feb 1st benjamin had a fever of 103.5- I wanted to have record of it in case his permenant teeth are affected by it. (yeah only a hygiene mom would do this)

Anyway...
Yesterday we went to the hospital to see mom and Benjamin crawled up on her hospital bed (which he is amazed by) and he passed gas. He turned around looked at Nanna and said "sowy nanna" then went right back to watching toons on her tv. We all busted out laughing.

Recently he is into anouncing if he has gas and well I took him to the grocery store with me and sure enough up and down the isles he waited until people were near me to anounce that "mom mom, Ben Ben got gas!" Oh my!

His new favorite saying is "umm I tink so"

He was playing with his cousins barbie car at GaGa's house yesterday and put these two teen barbies into the car... He looked at his grandmother and said "Ga Ga teenagers" she said "did you just say teenagers" Benjamin: "um hum teenagers"

The other night Benjamin just broke my heart. I have been having a little extra hard time with my brith control and I feel I get mad very easily. I am trying to work through it, but Benjamin had crawled between the couch and end table and Caleb followed. He knocked over a lamp and busted the bulb and I got mad. I spanked him and put him in time out because he is not supposed to climb back behind the table. Well I immediately picked up caleb and put him in his crib (it was past bedtime anyway) and then Benjamin later. Well Brad went in and cuddled with Benjamin etc.. when he came out of the room he said Benjamin keeps saying something about Caleb touching his lip and he is upset about it. After about 10 minutes Benjamin started crying again and I went in there and walked over to his crib. Between sobs he said "mom mom, Aleb touch lamp too." my heart crumbled that he was still upset over getting in trouble and that he noticed Caleb didn't get in trouble and he did. So I had to pick him up and hold him and explain to him that Caleb was too little to get spanked and that he was the big brother and Caleb does what he does etc.. Anyway it ruined my night. I have a lot to learn as a mom!
