no no
woof woof
and yesterday he started saying
choo chooand "ta too" or thank you for those who don't speak 10 month old!
He gets so proud of himself and will just sit up and clap and want you to clap for him too.
He is so close to taking his first step. Yesterday he picked up his bottle and stood while drinking it. He finally figured out if he leaned against the coffee table with his stomach he could drink it better and not have to balance so much. Finally daddy picked him up and it was all smiles while drinking his bottle.
It is amazing to watch him changing daily.
Benjamin is really having a hard time at night these days going to bed. We have our routine of reading books, cuddling and saying prayers then I sing and put him in bed. Recently he just screams though and wants to just cuddle. I don't want to deny him the time and cuddling, but I also have to find a balance of where this doesn't become a screaming habit at night. I feel like Benjamin is really testing his limits at home and time out is getting more frequent. It breaks my heart and I just want him to understand that if he would just listen he wouldn't have to go in time out. But he is two and I have to remember that about 300 times each day.
Last night while we were cuddling Caleb stood up in his crib and was fussing
Benjamin said "oh no aleb needs boom boom" which means he needs his pacifier.
I said: Well Benjamin what are we going to do?
Benjamin: Get daddy!
Me: what is daddy going to say?
Benjamin: find boom boom!
I couldn't help but laugh. I love how their little minds work!
Well speaking of work I better get off of here and go get ready.. I only have a few more weeks before my fill in position is over :(
