Easter 2010

We had a wonderful Easter! I got up before anyone was awake and was in the kitchen when I heard Benjamin walk out. I peeked around the kitchen into the living room and Benjamin was just standing there, eyes glued to the easter baskets. I said "Benjamin did the Easter bunny come? Benjamin: (while jumping up and down) Yes... the easter bunny come... go tell Daddy!" So we went in and woke Brad up to tell him the good news. We also had to go in and wake Caleb.. When I walked in Benjamin was standing at his crib saying "Key-ub the easter bunny come, the easter bunny come Key-ub." So we went out and went through baskets and immediately started eating candy!

After church we went to Brad's moms house for Easter lunch. We were stuffed with yummy food and had an easter egg hunt for the kids. It was so beautiful outside and the kids were having such a good time. Benjamin was so excited his cousin Madison was in town for the week.

After going to Brad's moms, we went to my moms for an easter egg hunt and dinner. We started off with the kids easter egg hunt. Then we moved into the backyard for the adult egg hunt with 122 eggs filled with money, candy and numbers which coorelated to gifts for our homes. I ended up with mostly eggs with money and only one with a prize. There were 23 "home" prizes. It was so much fun. We also had a guess how many jelly beans are in the jar, and I won that as well. I took home 50.00 in cash :) I can't complain. It was a very fun day. Benjamin had a hard afternoon as he was coming down off his sugar rush. He only wanted to eat candy and was exhausted. We still had a great time.

Benjamin being the oldest took over the egg hunt and we had to let the other boys find some too :)

I think Caleb is sneezing here.
