A snip snip here and a snip snip there....

Well it has finally happened... we have had our first do it yourself haircut. The boys were over at my parents house to spend the night and Benjamin was supposed to be in the bathroom brushing his teeth while mom was getting Caleb's PJ's on. Well Benjamin came walking in her room holding scissors and said "Nanna I got a haircut" And cut he did.. right across the top of his head. He left one little piece right in the middle. Mom got all excited about it when he told her, thinking "lauren is going to Kill me!" and her reaction caused Benjamin to think he was in big trouble and he started crying. Nanna then had to explain her reaction so he could understand she was not mad. I didn't care honestly because eventually I knew this was going to happen. So here is the original cut... 

Then mom cut the one piece off because it looked funny in the middle of his head. So here was the way he looked for two days before we got him to the place to get his hair cut.

 And for those who remember the movie dumb and dumber... here is what I felt my son looked like with his haircut design.

 And finally here is the haircut we now have as a result of how short he cut his "bangs" 

Brad thinks he officially looks like a redneck child. The lady at the hair place put gel in it to spike it up a little and Benjamin thinks it is the greatest thing ever... At least it was time for a summer cut.
