Summer Camp?

Benjamin and Caleb are doing a little summer camp where they go to preschool. It is 3 days a week every other week for 3 weeks. Well we talked it up and got them all excited about going to summer camp and that it was a cowboy theme etc. Well after work I went to get the boys at my moms house and asked Benjamin "how was summer camp? was it so fun?" to which he responded "No mommy it was borin and just like school. We got there and there were not any tents anywhere." I was thinking... no tents... did he think it was like a circus or something? So I asked him what do you mean no tents? He said "I thought we were going camping!"
The poor kid thought he was going away to summer camp like they do on Stuart Little for Boy scout camp and they go camping. No wonder it was not fun to him. Luckily we explained what was going on and how there are different types of camp for boys to go to. The next day someone was bringing in animals "from the wild west" and the third day they got to ride horses. They were super excite about it the last two days. So now we have it all cleared up and Benjamin won't be so disappointed when he goes back to summer camp again the next time.
