26- weeks, 6 1/2 months

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 26 weeks... 6 1/2 Months!! 98 days to go!!

Total Weight GainStill not looking at my weight. I have a doctors appointment today so I know my weight will be taken and I will not look again. I don't want to know right now what it is.

Maternity Clothes: I went to Old Navy last week and got 6 skirts and a dress. I have been so hot, shorts are not comfortable because they make the maternity ones with so much extra fabric and I just wanted skirts that I can put on with a top and be comfortable. It has been wonderful.

Best Moment of the Week: The boys got to feel the baby move last week and I didn't say anything when he gave a big kick but they just shot up looking at me and said "he moved!" It was fun to see them so excited about it. One moment I forgot to put in from my 24 week update was that we were at Busch Gardens and sat in on a Elmo musical show for the kids and the baby went crazy during the show. I am sure he could hear the music and it just woke him right up. I actually took a video on my phone trying to capture the movement. It was really fun to see.

Gender: Its a BOY! Benjamin and Caleb have both started referring to the baby again as a she though. I thought I finally had them understanding it was a boy.

What is going on with the Baby: This week he is working on breathing movements by inhaling amniotic fluid and it is essential to his developing lungs. He is gaining fat as well right now.

Baby is size of should weigh about 1 2/3 lbs and measure about 14 inches. An English Cucumber this week.

Movement: I started calling him thumper two nights ago because he was doing this really rapid movement in the middle of the night. I could not figure out what he was doing. He only moves when I need him to be still. At work after lunch while I am cleaning teeth he usually is up and right behind my belly button. I am pretty sure this little one has stayed head down and keeps his feet behind my belly button. Every morning really early he stretches out his legs and it feels like he is hitting my lungs, but then he tucks them back in and won't do it again. I think this baby will be built more like Caleb because with Benjamin I could tell exactly where he was when I was pregnant. With Caleb and this one, I can't seem to find them hiding out in my uterus.

Food Craving:No real cravings right now, but I still really like fruit and seafood.

What I Miss: Breathing when I sit. I feel like I don't have much room from my lungs and belly so when I get in the car or sit down it feels like my lungs have so much pressure on them and my belly is all the way up into my lungs.

What I am looking forward to: I am ready to get the nursery together and I am also ready and excited to get my house really really cleaned out and in order (I will do this after I am done with work on Aug. 30th) Most of all though I am really excited to hold this little guy.

Symptoms: Last Saturday was a bad day for me, I was not feeling good. Not exactly nausea but on the verge of having all day nausea. I think it was from being on vacation and being tired, just having a lot going on.  My newest symptom of pregnancy right now is leg cramps at night. So far I have been able to wake up and stop myself from going into a full leg cramp but they still hurt.  One other symptom that has been constant is a lot of pelvic pain and pressure. My pelvic bone pops really loud at night and after I have been sitting for a while I will get up and my pelvic bone just throbs. Not to mention I walk like an old lady because it takes me a while to get the pain to subside. It is a daily thing though.
