28 Weeks- Seven Months!

28 Weeks - 7 Months!
Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 28 weeks... 7 Months today. 12 Weeks to Go!

Total Weight Gain: I have no interest in knowing.
Maternity Clothes: Yes I am large in the belly so I am for sure in Maternity clothes.

Best Moment of the Week: It was an uneventful week for this little one. I guess the one thing that was kind of neat is that at one point he had pressed something really tight into my side... a butt or head, or something, it felt rounded. I was just feeling him right there and he wasn't moving away. It was just fun to feel him and know that the only thing keeping me from my child is my own skin and it protects him and keeps him safe. Brads family was in town from PA this week so they got to see him moving around and jumping around in my stomach.

Gender: Its a BOY!
What is going on with the Baby: blinking eyelids and gaining white fat (fat used for energy) kicks and jabs are more likely from knees and elbows- kicks will become more vigorous. Permenant tooth buds are starting to form.
Baby is size of: a chinese cabbage- 2 1/4 lbs and 14.8 inches long.

Movement: Move move move- This little one is active 80% of the time. I hope this means he is getting his energy out now and will be calm and laid back once he is born!
Food Craving: No real cravings this week. I feel like I am eating less now.
What I Miss: Sleeping in the same bed with my husband. Brad has moved himself to the couch because I wake up and move so often. He knows its not my fault, but we are both actually sleeping better with more space.
What I am looking forward to: I am looking forward to starting to put together the baby's room. I am going to do it a bit different this time but still used some of the same things from Benjamin and Caleb's nursery.
Symptoms: Mostly just pelvic bone pain. It is really hard for me to stand up after sitting a while. I have not had any more leg cramps which has been nice. I think now I just feel like I am uncomfortable.
