Smart ones were on sale buy one get one $3.64. That makes them $1.82 each. Then I had a coupon for $5.00 off 12. So this brings them to $1.40 each. This is where my expense came in yesterday, but worth it for what I need.
Now I paid full price for the gallon and half gallon of milk. The half gallon went to making yogurt for the boys. $2.69 for that much yogurt can't be beat.
The best deals though are the toilet paper and detergent
- Angel soft toilet paper was on sale for $3.99. I had a coupon for $0.45 and that got doubled to $0.90. So I paid $3.09 for the toilet paper.
- The detergent is not a brand I have ever used, but I will use for Brads work Clothes if I don't like it. It was on sale for $1.99 and I had a coupon for $1.00 off. Making it $0.99 each. I went back today and got more with more coupons I printed at my moms house. I ended up with 6 of these total.
I went today and got a few more of these deals. I ended up with 6 of the detergent and 3 of the La Croix and 12 of the crackerfuls. I also bought bread which is not pictured.
So my total spent was $155.41
I spent $56.64
Total Saved $ 98.77
I am pleased with this since it was my first trip back with couponing. It was also on items that are often very expensive. One other thing is that I got rainchecks for Angel Soft and for Sparkle paper towels because these deals got cleared off the shelves. The paper towels were 3.99 as well. This allows me 60 days longer to get this same deal. It will also give me 60 days to find better or more coupons. I am excited about using coupons again. YAY!!
