Johnny Jumper

Yesterday, I decided to pull out the johnny jumper the other day. Elijah is not ready for it quite yet, but I felt like he was tired of sitting in the bouncy seat, or swing. I wanted to put him in the kitchen with me while I made dinner. I had to put a blanket in the seat with him because it is so big. He didn't know what to do. I made it so that his feet touched the floor so he could work on making his little legs stronger. Benjamin and Caleb thought it was so funny, but they had to have a lesson in the safety of the situation. I just knew I would turn around to see them swinging him in the air or something if I didn't talk to them about it.

Tonight I put him in the Johnny Jumper again and he started to figure out what to do a little. He would put his feet down and make himself turn. He started to bounce just a few tiny little bounces. He was really happy and content in the seat. It is a good way for me to be able to entertain him and cook dinner.
