A Girls Night

It's not often that I get a night away. Away from kids, chaos and craziness of everyday life. But it is even more rare to get a night away with two of my closest friends for a girls night, especially when one lives in Seattle. I was so thankful for Brad being willing and able to watch the boys while I was away at the lake with the girls. Danielle and Cristy are such a special part of my life and any time with them is cherished. We got to go up to my parents lakehouse and just have time hanging out and catching up. We drank wine, went on a walk, got in the lake and drank margaritas on the dock. Then we cooked dinner and just enjoyed our time together. It was so fun to see Cristy, as I don't see her often. Its sad when friends live so far away. I love that we can catch up and pick up right where we left off.
Danielle got to enjoy peanutbutter (a real treat that is not allowed in her nut free household)

We enjoyed our drinks on the dock in the sun #cropthethighs

Such sweet friends! I am so thankful for them.
It was a short visit, but we truly loved our time together. I felt so rested when I got back home with the kids. I am thankful for lifelong friends.
