Fun with Mom

Baby Buczkowski is now 5 months in the making! Yesterday mom and I met my mother-in-law (Joy) and Brad's aunt for lunch at the Elegant Gourmet (in simpsonville). It was so fun. It is this little quaint white house with a porch all the way around it. We sat outside on the porch and there was a really nice breeze. It was just really fun to all have lunch together. While we were sitting out on the porch waiting for Joy to get there little boy Buczkowski decided he was going to show off and mom got to feel him kick. He really gave her a nice hard kick! It was really fun because she got all excited. I also had a doctors appointment yesterday and everything is going well. He is measuring at exactly 20 weeks where he should be and weighs about 10 oz. He is a very active kicker and likes to constantly kick me in the same place. Brad said he is going to be a soccer player and he is just practicing his accuracy. At least at this point it doesn't hurt when he kicks me. Brad and I have not even started working on names yet. I have ones that I am stuck on and really like, but we have not sat down to really look at names or discuss them. I would like to keep the name a secret because we decided to find out that he is a boy. I am feeling really good at this point. I have energy and feel human again, I also have more of an appetite, but still fill up pretty fast. As of yesterday I have only gained 4 to 5 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight. I think 98% of that weight went straight to my chest and the rest is baby and tummy. It is amazing the changes that happen to your body when you are pregnant.
After lunch yesterday mom and I went to start looking at fabric for the baby's room. I decided I am picking out fabric and then I have a deal with a friend and she is going to be making all the bedding and curtains for me. We found the best fabrics! I can't wait to see it all together. Mom and I had so much fun though picking everything out and finding different fabrics to go together. Well that is about all that is going on right now. This coming week is my last week of the summer semester at school and then I have a 17 day break before fall semester begins. I will only have one class this fall though and only be in class for two days out of the week. I planned it that way knowing I would need to take it easy as time for the baby to arrive approached. Brad started his new job and is absolutely loving it. He has long days out in the sun, but he really enjoys his time outside and feels like there is actaully a challenge to his job now. We are doing really well. I promise to post some pictures of my growing belly as soon as I get mom to take them. My digital camera is broken (which has to be fixed before the baby comes).
