Baby Buczkowski is still quite active.. weighing in around 2 pounds now and somewhere around 14 inches long from head to foot. Brad is talking to him more now and the baby seems to wake up when Brad gets home from work and he hears Brad talking. I am just so in love with our little one... I can't imagine the love once he is born.
I am not sleeping very well these days. My back hurts from laying on my sides so much since I am not supposed to sleep on my back or stomach. I was always a stomach sleeper so it has been a hard transition for me. Brad has given up his beloved feather pillow because it is easy to put under my stomach and helps me sleep so much better. What a wonderful husband I have. Brad and I have been getting so much more quality time together now that he is working a job with normal hours. I love him coming home from work and getting to spend the evening with him. Unlike Starbucks when he would be leaving as I got home or vice versa.
Well I have started to look for a baby book that I liked and I found one only to realize it was $99.00 (FOR A BABY BOOK!!) So I have decided with all my creativity to create my own baby book. I am going to make it exactly what I want it to be. I started working on getting my ideas organized for it and write down the things I want included in it. It should be a fun project to get started. I was going through some of the things for the baby and realized I have a bag of baby shoes (already). This kid is going to be walking in style... only because I am a COMPLETE sucker for baby shoes. Brent's girlfriend got him little moccasins and it was actually his first baby gift. I also got his mobile for the crib so I thought I would post some pictures of it for all to see.

Well today I was supposed to be a domestic goddess.... It was supposed to be a day of cooking and cleaning for me. Brad decided he needed a day in the mountains and since I can't hike he went alone. I was going to clean and get everything straightened up and make sure it is in place since mom and I worked so hard to get my house clean. I am not about to let it turn into a complete mess. As far as the cooking goes I am attempting something I have never done... Roasting a whole chicken. BUT... this is no ordinary chicken... Brad takes care of a lawn for a place called Sharon Rose Farm. They have all organic grain fed animals that are free range. The supply meat to places like Smoke on the Water in Greenville, and FIGS and a few other places in Charleston, SC. Brad was talking to him about his meat (we would like to start ordering our meat from him) and he gave us a whole chicken. I usually just throw a chicken in the crock pot and let it cook and use the meat in recipes throughout the week, but I wanted to really cook this right. So... I hope it turns out well. It is roasting right now and smells WONDERFUL! Hopefully I won't mess it up. I took pictures of it because I take silly pictures like that... I am roasting veggies along with it, so we will see what happens.
