My first Baby Shower

I had promised pictures from my first baby shower, and I have them but they are on my mom's computer. I need to go over there sometime today and post them. The shower was wonderful and I got all kinds of good stuff that was or is very much needed. Jennifer was such a wonderful hostess and it was so fun to get all these gifts that were not for me, but for Benjamin. I promise to post a 8 month pregnant picture. I think there is a big difference in 7 and 8 months. Benjamin feels huge in my stomach. He should weigh somewhere around 4 pounds now. The doctor said his head is down and will stay that way (hopefully) unless he decides to switch positions. His movements have changed a lot. He no longer kicks but now he rolls when he moves. Being uncomfortable has definitely been a new change. I thought I was somewhat uncomfortable before 8 months, but now I eat and feel so tight and huge for hours after. I have a harder time sleeping now, but it is weird because once I get comfortable I have been sleeping so deep and it feels like good sleep. Last night was a first for me, and maybe it is God's way of starting to prepare me, but I was up every 3 hours like clock work to pee. We will see if it continues, or if it was just last night. I am starting to get back to days where I am extremely exhausted even right after I wake up. Yesterday was one of those days and I ended up taking a 4 hour nap two hours after I woke up. I have noticed that the times when Benjamin is supposed to be going through a growth spurt are the times when I am the most tired.

Well Brad and I are doing well. We don't see much of each other recently. By the time we both get home each day or whatever we eat dinner and go to bed. There has been no real quality time over the past few weeks. It is a little stressful especially since I am getting to the point where I feel like I really need some time with just Brad as Benjamin's birth is not far away. Brad is still really enjoying his job and has been selling some extra projects recently which is always good. We will be starting Benjamin's room very soon. We are going to have to strip all the paint off the baseboards because it has latex painted over oil and it is peeling off. Yay for another project! All his bedding was started this week. I met with Joanna to begin cutting fabrics. I meet with her again on thursday. Getting the bedding started really makes it feel close.
Mom came over this past week and was an amazing help to me. She helped me get the entire house in order. It is so nice and clean now. I will have to take pictures now that it is in order. It is not completely decorated, but that takes time. Okay well I will post pictures once I go over to moms house later today.
