I am still trying to not have Benjamin out with me very much. I dont know what it is about new babies but random people just want to touch him. I had his little hands covered because people kept wanting to touch his hands. I dont want to be rude, but if it was not cold and flu season I would not be so paranoid about him getting sick, but I don't want him to get the RSV virus. Anyway.. after that we went to my moms house because Mrs. Enloe and her mom had come into town and were dying to see Benjamin. So he got to meet Grandma Enloe and his Great Grandma Enloe. They were thrilled to spend a little time with him.
Grandma Enloe
After we left mom's and came home, Brad was home and very eager to spend some time with his son. I love that he misses him so much during the day. Benjamin really responds to Brad also. When Brad holds him and talks to him, he will open his eyes and just look at Brad. He responded to Brad's voice in the womb also. When Brad would get home from work and talk to me, Benjamin would start moving around in my stomach. Brad says that is why he was given the name he has because it means "son of my right hand." After dinner and a few episodes of 24 which Brad and I are currently addicted to, we gave Benjamin his first REAL bath. I thought he was going to hate it, but he didn't. He just layed there as content as could be in the warm water. At one point as usual he decided to pee right as he was yawning and yes you guessed it, peed right in his own mouth. I quickly blocked it and then had to change the bath water. I found it a little difficult to bathe him due to the fact that he loves to stay balled up and it is so hard to get him to stretch out to make sure he gets all cleaned. He smelled so good after his bath and as I was trying to get a diaper on him, he decided to pee on himself again! I try to cover him so the air doesn't hit him, but he always kicks off whatever I cover him with. Poor little guy! Well here are some bathtime pictures. He looks so tiny in some of them.

I took these pictures this morning. The poor little guy is still too small for so many of his clothes, but he is close to fitting in this one, so we are wearing it anyway.
To update on Brad and I... We are doing wonderful. I feel like we have a new perspective on marriage and life now that we have a child. We were talking about how Benjamin is 100% dependent on us and how much of a big responsability that is. Brad is loving work and doing quite well bringing in new jobs for the company. He still wishes he could just be home all the time with Benjamin and I. We have really had good family time recently which is much needed. This weekend Brad is giving a tool shower to a friend of ours and it will be my first night without Brad home with the baby, so I decided to go to my parents and spend the night. I know with my parents and brothers I will not be holding my son all night! I dont know if I mentioned it in another blog, but I went to the doctor on Monday to check the tare I have, and it is still not healing. Please if you remember pray that it will heal, because if it doesn't it is a really big ordeal involving surgery. I go back on Friday to have it checked again. That is about all for now. I will write again soon.
