Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow....

I am a sucker for snow and winter weather. I pray all year long that we will get wintry weather and sure enough my prayers were answered. It is so wonderful that God cares about even our simple requests, like a little snow. Every time there is a mention of snow on the weather channel I get all excited and Brad thinks I am crazy because he never thinks the weather men are right and he says I just get my hopes up. Well tonight my wish came true. I turn into a kid again when snow begins to fall. I get all excited, throw my "told you so" at Brad, and can watch out the window forever as the ground gets covered in white. I love to be all cozy in our home, just knowing that snow is falling outside. I LOVE IT! Tonight I of course got excited as snow began falling, I made hot chocolate, and I went to the glass door about 50 times just to look out and see the progress. I love looking outside across the street at the park that is all covered in white. I know in the morning when all the neighborhood kids wake up the beautiful white blanket is going to be all messed up with hundreds of footprints and sled tracks. I love how peaceful it looks and sounds. Maybe I need to move somewhere with a lot of snow. Anyway.. tonight is Benjamin's first snowfall so of course I had to get some pictures of our little snow baby. Once again he slept through going outside to see the snow. He gets very excited about these things! I am sure there will be more pictures tomorrow if the snow sticks around and doesn't turn to slush and ice.
