I have been working on a project for a few weeks now and it has taken me forever. I really didn't anticipate how long it would take. It is part of the reason I have not posted many deals or gone out to participate in many. I have been working on a system to organize my coupons. I tried a lot of things and nothing worked. I saw ideas people did with regular sized notebooks, but I didn't want to carry something so big with me all the time. I used a small 3 ring binder (9x7) and created my own pages to fit it. I broke everything down into categories and then within each category I broke it down even more.
For example I have a section on Oral Care then inside that section I have pockets for Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, and Mouthwash. This helps me to break down my coupons so when I am at a store I can easily find them.
The size is convenient to carry around and I used it for the first time last night at CVS and it worked well.
I also included sections for each of the stores I go to the most. So I have a section for Bi-Lo, CVS, Wal-Mart etc.
