Christmas Eve... 2008

We had a very full day on Christmas Eve this year. It started out with my dad's office Christmas party. My dad owns his own company and he had an entire turkey dinner catered in for all his employees and any family that want to come. After that they do a big raffle for gifts donated from vendors over the year. They gave away an x-box 360 this year!

After that we headed over to Brad's mom's for christmas eve. His aunt, uncle and 3 cousins were in town for the holidays, his brother and girlfriend came over, Madison our niece, Adison her niece, and Brad's step sister and her boyfriend came over as well. We had a wonderful time. Below are some pictures from our evening.






























For Christmas Brad's mom and step dad gave us a wonderful very unexpected gift.... They gave us their minivan! Brad and I were shocked and so excited about a family car that has so much room. I have fought having a minivan for a long time ( I said "I WILL NEVER DRIVE ONE") knowing the entire time that it is such a practical car for a family. Just recently I told Brad that it would probably be a good car to get. Well now I am a proud owner!













After we had our celebration and amazing dinner we headed over to Brad's aunt's house to visit with his grandparents and to have christmas over there.














After all our family festivities and after Benjamin went all day with NO NAP. It was time to get him home and in his jammies for Christmas. He couldn't stay awake to sit with us for our tradition of hot chocolate and the Christmas story, so we let him go to bed in order to have some sanity on Christmas. Brad and I had hot chocolate and read the Christmas story together.












After that we knew we had assemly on one item so off we went to put it together. We were both so tired, but it had to be done... We were up until 1am because there were a million different pieces!
