Easy Beef Stir-Fry
1 lb. lean beef steak (top round) cut very thin
1 t salt 1 Egg white
1 T cornstarch 2 T veggie oil + more when needed
3 C. yellow onion sliced 1 T red wine vinegar
1 T sugar 4 T soy sauce
1 Green pepper sliced, Broccoli florets and carrot slices if wanted.
Combine beef, salt, egg, and cornstarch. Mix well in plastic baggie. Heat oil to 375 in a wok or deep pan. Stir-fry beef (small amounts at a time) until lightly brown; drain on paper towel. Stir fry onions, peppers and other veggies. While cooking
combine sugar, vinegar, soy sauce and then pour mix over veggies. Add beef and
cook a few minutes longer until sauce thickens slightly. Serve over rice.
