Salisbury Steak

When I told Brad we were having salisbury steak he was not excited. He used to eat it a lot as a child and said he got a little tired of eating it. But.. this is not your normal salisbury steak (or at least not what I was used to) It is very easy and quick. Let me know if you try it.

Salisbury Steak
1 egg ¾ lb ground beef
3 tbsp crushed butter flavored crackers 2tbsp butter
1 tbsp finely chopped onion 3 tbsp flour
½ tsp salt 1 ¾ c. water
¼ tsp pepper 2 beef bullion cubes
¼ tsp sage

In a bowl combine egg, cracker crumbs, onions, salt pepper and sage and
beef and mix well. Shape into patties. In a skillet cook 4-5 min on each side

until brown. –drain and set aside. Add butter and flour to skillet. Add in water and bullion and cook until smooth and thick. Return patties to gravy and cook 10 minutes uncovered and stirring frequently.

Add water and bullion cook and stir until smooth and thickened
Return patties to gravy and cook uncovered for 10 min stirring constantly.
