Happy 2nd Birthday Benjamin!

My sweet Benjamin turned two years old on December 4th! The morning of his birthday when we heard Benjamin waking up we went in with Caleb and woke him up with singing Happy Birthday. Then he came out and we made breakfast together. We made chocolate chip pancakes (which is going to be a "birthday only" breakfast) Benjamin was really excited about it and couldn't wait to help make them. We spent the day hanging out as a family and also trying very hard not to have to discipline Benjamin on his birthday. I think he woke up "knowing" he had turned two and though he was supposed to start being terrible! It was a little tough because we wanted it to be a really good day for him. That evening we were hosting a party with people from church so Benjamin got dressed and waited in anticipation of spending time with "mrs. cristy." He had a blast with her while we had our dinner party. Now before you think I am a terrible mother for sending my child away on his birhtday... The next day was his birthday party so this was my only reason I was ok with letting him not spend the whole day with us. Here are a few pictures from his actual birthday.
