Thanksgiving Overview...

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I got up very early on Thanksgiving morning (I was just wide awake) and I started cooking. By 9:30 I had cooked two pumpkins in the oven and made pumpkin puree, I had made green bean casserole, I had two loaves of homemade bread rising, and had the start of cornbread stuffing in the works. We spent Thanksgiving day at Brad's mom's house and enjoyed good company and food. We were stuffed and it was wonderful. We ended our day by curling up on the couch and watching Christmas Vacation to ring in our
Christmas holiday season. The day after Thanksgiving we all went to my parents lake house for the weekend and celebrated Thanksgiving with my family. This was the first time that the "kids" were in charge of the meal. It turned out wonderfully! We had a fun weekend at the lake with all 4 boys (Benjamin, Caleb, Wyatt and Finn) and my parents, my two brothers, my sister-in-law, and my grandparents. It was the first of MANY memories at the lake together.

While at the lake Benjamin caught his first fish! It was so much fun and he was so excited to catch it. Later on he was telling great grandad about his fish and said he caught a "biiiiiiiiiigggggg" fish and he put his hands way out to show the size. Grandad said "you are already a true fisherman... exaggerating how big the fish you caught was"
