Our rainy day..

Well we have done quite a few things to try and entertain on this rainy day. Brad made them a "cowboy" lunch which was hotdogs and baked beans. Benjamin was really excited about the lunch though and was the first thing he told me about when I got home from running a few errands. We got out all the play-doh, we have played video games, watched movies, etc... The boys have been really good overall but needed something else to keep them occupied for a while.

So we got bath toys and put them in the sink and while I chopped things for dinner and got everything prepared so I could easily put it all together, the boys got up at the sink and used my scraps to make "soup." They worked on this for about 1 1/2 hours. I got all my dinner stuff prepared and then sat at the table while they played. Since then we have moved on to the bathtub and I am now letting them play in the water while I sit outside the bathroom door blogging. Thank goodness tomorrow is supposed to be sunny! Outside they will go where they can do some running.
