32 Weeks - 8ish weeks to go!
Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 8 months, or 32 weeks...8ish Weeks to go or 54 more days until the due date. I am feeling physically ready but not ready for him to be here yet. I actually found out this week the two possible dates of induction for this little guy if we end up going that route.
Total Weight Gain: I finally found out my weight gain is 35 lbs at this point. YIKES.
Maternity Clothes: I should be pretty much set at this point. I have enough to get me through the rest of this pregnancy. My mom got me clothes for my birthday which was wonderful. Its funny becasue as much as you are ready to wear maternity clothes you get to a point where you are ready to be out of them too.
Best Moment of the Week: I sat down on the couch and was just relaxing and the baby had hiccups but he was right by my belly button so I could actually see him having hiccups and I got it on video. It was fun to see him through my stomach. One other great moment this past week was when we were in Nashville TN last weekend I discovered a non alocholic beer that was great! I am not a beer drinker at all on a normal basis.. I don't like the taste of it much but when I am pregnant I really like beer! Its weird. Anyway I found one called Buckler and it absolutely hit the spot! I also got my registry done this week which was nice. I don't need much this time around, but there are a few things that I need to replace etc.
Gender: Its a BOY! Poor little one still has no name. I don't know why it is so hard to figure out a name for him. I don't like the names Brad picks out and he doesn't like the names I pick out.
What is going on with the Baby: it seems this week is a weight gain week.
What is going on with the Baby: it seems this week is a weight gain week.
Baby is size of: a jicama- 3.75 lbs and 16.7 inches long.
Movement:Still a lot of movement going on. The baby still only likes to kick me on the left side and has been kicking my ovary a lot lately! It hurts a lot as well when he does it. He has been active in the mornings and then at the times when I am sure he will be awake to eat. I have been able to get a few videos this week of the baby moving around my stomach. He still prefers his knee to be in my belly button.
Cravings: There has not been a big must have this week.
What I miss: I usually say sleeping but this week I actually found a way to sleep that is amazing! I slept on the air mattress that Brad has been using for the past few months becuase I am so uncomfortable at night and it has been amazing. Because a little of the air leaks out at night it fills in the spaces where I need support. I have slept so sound and comfortably! I am really excited about it. I miss breathing normally. When I sit back on the couch or something I feel like my lungs are in my throat and I have no room to move. I also just miss getting up from sitting position without help or without having trouble.

What I am looking forward to: This is my last week of work! I will be a stay at home mom on Friday. I am looking forward to routine and structure as well. I also am ready to get going on the house. It is driving me crazy that it is not finished yet and that I have work to be done. I want it to feel organized and clean. Right now I feel like even though I have done a ton it is closing in on me and feels so messy.
Symptoms: Not a ton of them this week. I have had heartburn a few times so I took zantac but it is mostly when I lay down and can feel my belly put pressure on my stomach. The pelvic pain and pressure is still there as well but I have had more better days with it. I also have had nausea again... Not terrible nausea, but enough to make me feel like I dont want to do anything. I also have been pretty tired at night. I feel fairly rested in the mornings, but around 8pm it hits me that the events of the day have worn me out.
**I have to put this in here becasue I couldn't believe it. Last weekend in Memphis we went to a restaurant for breakfast and went to pay for it and the girl behind the counter said "awww look at your cute little belly..... well I guess it really isn't that little is it?" I couldn't believe she said that to me! Not a good thing to say to a pregnany lady. **
