Three Decades

Well it finally happened... I turned 30!! I was dreading it... not looking forward to it at all. I realized there was no stopping it either so I just decided to embrace it. Brad being the amazing husband he is threw me a surprise party on August 11th. He really had me thown off about it until about an hour before the party. I was shocked he had planned everything! He contacted people, (some he contacted and then realized he forgot to send them the invite) He planned the food, drinks, cake, etc. He even thought to get special juice boxes for kids. He really did a great job and I couldn't believe he went to such lengths to pull off such a great surprise for me.

My actual birthday was on the 23rd and I woke up to breakfast, flowers, coffee, and the newspaper. He also had a few little gifts for me as well.  Brad got up early and went to the store to get everything before he left for work. I have such a sweet husband!

Turning 30 was not so bad really :) I did however get my one wish for my birthday. I asked for my 30th to finally be a stay at home mom and I get my wish. This is my last week of work and I will finally be able to stay home with my sweet boys and be the mom I really desire to be. It will be the toughest job ever, but it will be well worth it!

So here is to a new stage of life... I welcome it!
